Originally from a small village in South Yorkshire, Milly now lives in a medium sized village in Berkshire, with the company and support of her partner and cat.
After receiving her undergraduate degree in Industrial Design, from Loughborough University, Milly had a career as a graphics and packaging designer. Milly then went on to get a Masters degree in Production Design, from the National Film and Television School (NFTS).
Most notably: Milly has designed the BAFTA nominated and Annie Award winning stop motion animation ‘Night of the Living Dread’, Student BAFTA shortlisted and Jackson Wild winning documentary ‘Stories of You and I’, the animation ‘Scale’ debuted at Cannes 2022 in the Semaine de la Critique section, and most recently Milly designed the BFI funded short ‘Rapture’.
Whilst continually building on her design career, Milly has simultaneously been working as a draftsperson in major motion pictures including; ‘Enola Holmes’ (2020), The Electrical Life of Louis Wain’ (2021), ‘
Lady Chatterley’s Lover’ (2022), The Flash’ (2023), ‘Empire of Light’ (2023) and currently, an untitled Bong Joon Ho project.
